Carlos is not only outstanding in customer service when dealing with our patients but he is a true team player. He has worked at all three locations, all possible shifts, including overnights and weekends, and is always willing to help anywhere the managers need him. Meet our 1st Employee of the Quarter for 2016! Lisa is an amazing team player and everyone at every location recognizes her hard work! How long have you worked for us ~ September 14, 2015 Do you have any pets ~ My roommate has 2 cats but I live with them Tell me about your education ~ I went to high school at Pedro Menendez in St. Augustine and I have a B.S. in Psychology. Working on a Masters for Physician’s Assistant. It will be a little over two years before I get in. How do you spend your time off ~ I have been dancing since I was three but I haven’t done any since high school, except at the gym in Ignite Class. I like shopping, going to the beach and hanging out with friends. What is the favorite part of your job ~ Working with kids, since I have always wanted to do that. I even wanted to be a pediatrician my freshman year of college. Also, all the people I work with!
Janet Parry – 3rd Quarter Employee of the Month
Janet came to work with us to acquire the 1000 hours in clinical work required to apply to Physician’s Assistant school. She has become a wonderful addition and great asset to the PCC family. How long have you worked with us? A Little over a year – 13 months Do you have any pets? I have a dog named Porkchop. He’s half pit-bull and half wiener What is your education? I currently have a Bachelors of Science in exercise science from Florida State University. I am persuing a Physician Assistant Masters Degree. I just finished all my applications to programs, and anxiously waiting to hear back. Do you have any hobbies? My hobbies include reading, running, and watching movies. I am a secret SYFI nerd! And I enjoy spending my free time with family and friends. Also attend FSU and Jaguar football games. Where did you grow up? I grew up in Jacksonville. Went to Bishop Kenny High School. Class of 2010 and St. Paul’s at the Beaches for Elementary and Middle school. What’s the best part of your job? My favorite part of my job is working with an amazing team. The PCC team supports me in and out of the office. I’ve learned a great deal from the amazing providers and fellow co-workers. I also enjoy my small role in helping others! I wish to give back and help as many lives as I can, and Pediatric Care Center enables me to do so.

Chasity Moore is our Employee of the Quarter! She works front desk at the Beach Office and is the go to person to help and guide our new front desk staff. Everyone loves working with her and we all see her hard work play out every day! Thank you Chasity we are all very grateful to have you on our team. 1.) How long have you worked for us? A year this month! 2.) Do you have any pets? Does my nephew Colton count? 3.) Tell me the name of the degree have. A Bachelors of Science in Health; Minor: Health Education (graduated 2013) 4.)Do you have any hobbies? How do you spend your off time? Working out, spending time with family 5.) Where did you go to high school? Bartram Trail High School 6.) What is your favorite part of you job? Everything! Seeing kids and working with my wonderful co-workers. 7.) Tell us a funny moment in the office you would like to share? My nickname at the office is “poopy pants” because somehow I always end up with melted chocolate on my pants. It has happen to me 4-5 times!!!!
Employee of the Quarter – Kristina Lopez
How long have you worked for us? Since April 2013, so a little over 20 months! Do you have any pets? Yes! I have 3 fur babies. 2 Yorkies, Moose and Lexi and a Chihuahua named Paco What is your educational background? I went to Bartram Trail High School (Go Bears!). And I graduated from UNF in April 2013 with a Bachelor in Science in Biology with a concentration in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Psychology. I plan on taking my MCAT soon to pursue my dream of becoming a Plastic Surgeon! Where did you grow up? I grew up in a military household so we moved a few times growing up. How do you spend your time off? I absolutely love painting my nails and baking. I find them very relaxing. I also love spending time with my family, friends and fur babies. When I get a chance I also like to travel. I recently came back from a weekend in Key West. I love the water and I go kayaking in the Intracoastal or soak up some rays at the beach! Anything that you like to share about yourself? I love to hunt for super sales! Budgeting is fun and challenging but far more rewarding when you can find what you’re looking for at a cheaper price. What is your favorite part of your job? I love my coworkers. They put a constant smile on my face!
