Adam de la Torre, MD

Dr. Adam de la Torre was born and raised in Jacksonville. School took him away, first to Duke University where he was the mascot and graduated with a Bachelors degree in psychology focusing on personality and behavior. Ever the adventurer, he then set off to the islands of St. Vincent’s and the Grenadines for medical school before the winds brought him back to Jacksonville for his pediatric residency. In residency he cared for numerous patients while rotating at Wolfson Children’s Hospital, UF Health Jacksonville, and Nemours children’s clinic. He was involved in running the resident wellness program and was named his class’s most outstanding resident.

Since graduating he has dedicated himself as a primary care pediatrician serving northeast Florida. He also serves as the Medical Director of Pediatric Care Centers. A big kid at heart, he particularly enjoys sports medicine, infectious disease, ADHD management, and promoting healthy lifestyles for children.

Outside of work, Dr. Adam loves spending time with his wife and four children. An avid Jaguars fan, he can often be caught attending games with them.
