June’s featured staff member is Raley Moore! Raley joined our team at the front desk as a receptionist and is currently enrolled in training to become a Medical Assistant. While juggling the tasks of both positions, she is on her way to becoming an RN, let’s learn a little more about Raley.

Q: Where are you from?
A: I spent the first 14 years of my life in Woodstock and Mableton Ga. But, I’ve lived here for over 22 years. I call Jacksonville Beach home.
Q: What’s your favorite activity after work?
A: I try to enjoy the beach as much as possible. A day at the beach with family, friends and a grill is a perfect day to me.
Q: Do you have any children?
A: I have a 16 year old son. But, I do have a lot of children in my life that I love as my own.
Q: What about pets?
A: I don’t have any pets, I have a teenager!!
Q: How do you describe your job at Pediatric Care Center?
A: Rewarding, educational and fast paced. I enjoy watching the children grow and meeting their new siblings. I love the relationships I have made with the parents. Working with children is amazing!
Q: Are you what you wanted to be when you were growing up?
A: I am working on it. I am attending school working towards becoming a RN. I want to work with children in the medical field. So I’m half way there.
Q: What’s the #1 question you get asked in the office?
A: “Are you taking new patients”? Yes we are, so tell your friends.
Q: Have you seen any local trends that parents have questions about?
A: We have a lot of questions regarding sinus issues. It has kept us busy this season.
Q: Do you have any tips about what parents can do to make the most of their visit with the office?
A: As always, write down questions for the provider, get to know the staff, and know we are here for you and your children.
Q: Tell us a funny story from the office.
A: Wow! There are so many funny stories. We do work with children and they do say whatever is on their little minds. They always make me laugh. The sing-a-longs between the staff are always fun!
